Peggy Freeman Wicker

Peggy Freeman Wicker, 81, of Big Oak Church Rd., Eagle Springs, died Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Graveside Service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Big Oak Christian Church Cemetery, with Rev. John Stone officiating. Born in Moore County on August 17, 1939, she was the daughter of Silas A. and Marie Myrick Freeman. She was a Registered Nurse, having received her BSN from UNC-Chapel Hill and a Masters in Education from University of South Florida. Mrs. Wicker is survived by her husband, James Lewis Wicker of the home; son, James Eric Wicker of Eagle Springs; daughter, Vanessa Wicker Reeves of Tallahassee FL. Briggs-Candor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
