Peggy Cranford

Peggy Allred Cranford, 82, of NC HWY 8 Denton died Friday, April 08, 2011 at Stanly Regional Medical Center. A graveside service will be held 11:00AM Monday at Alleghany UMC Cemetery conducted by Rev. Kelly Creekmur. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 AM Monday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton prior to the service. Mrs. Cranford was born November 30, 1928 in Davidson County to Jesse T. Allred and Cola Taylor Allred. She was a member of Alleghany UMC and had worked at Surratts Hosiery Mill as a seamer. Survivors include, husband, J.W. Cranford of the Lutheran Home in Albemarle, and a sister, Betty Plummer of Denton.
