Peggy Small Beane

Mrs. Peggy Small Beane, 76, of Bob Loflin Rd., Denton, NC 27239 passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024, at her residence.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, Nov. 15, at Pleasant Grove Church with Rev. Brett Chappell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Beane was born on October 24, 1948, in Davidson County, NC to Clyde Lespy Small and Magdalene Hulin Small.  She was a member of Pleasant Grove Church and had worked in the furniture industry at Councill Craftsman and in textiles. Peggy loved to sew and travel whenever she could.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Henry Wade Small.

She is survived by her husband, Clinard Beane of the home; daughter, Anita Dunn and her husband Terry; brothers, Roy Small of Trinity and Ronald Small and his wife Barbara of Asheboro; sister, Janice Hoover and Randall Loflin of Asheboro; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog Marley.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the residence.
