Pearl Blake

Mrs. Pearl Cole Blake, age 88 of Lick Creek Ch. Rd. Denton died Friday, April 19, 2013 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Lexington. Graveside services will be held 3:00 PM Monday, April 22, 2013 at Lick Creek Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Steve Kiger and Rev. Hulin Pait Mrs. Blake was born February 9, 1925 in Davidson County to James Albert Cole and Ottie Varner Cole. She worked as bookkeeper at Yadkin Valley Chevrolet for many years and was a member of Lick Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband; Raymond Harris Blake on October 2, 2004 and brothers; Anderson, Paul, Max, Hoyle, and Marvin Cole. She is survived by her son; Roger Blake and wife Brenda of Denton, sisters; Sue Cole Tysinger and Vae Cole Hunt both of Denton. The family will see friends on Monday from 1:00 to 2:30 PM at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the home of her son Roger.
