Pauline "Polly" Gallimore

Mrs. Martha Pauline “Polly” Ridge Gallimore age 95, formerly of Crousetown Rd., Lexington died Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Mountain Vista Health Park. Funeral services will be held 3:30 PM Thursday at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel conducted by Rev. Claudie Harrison. Interment will follow in Walters Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Gallimore was born June 3, 1918 in Randolph County to Stanley William Ridge and Dollie Tysinger Ridge. She was member of Walters Grove Baptist Church and worked as a seamstress. She was preceded in death by her husband; Aster Ralph Gallimore and by her sister; Esther Yother. Polly is survived by sons; Ronnie Gallimore (Suzanne), Ralph Gallimore (Kitty), and Steve Gallimore all of Denton, daughter; Kathy Nance (Jeff) of Denton, brother; Robert Ridge of Denton, 9 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the children’s respective homes.
