Pauline Hudson Deaton

Mrs. Pauline Hudson Deaton, 96, of Pine Street, Biscoe,NC died Friday at Autumn Care of Biscoe. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, May 23 at First Baptist Church in Biscoe conducted by Rev. Larry Wilson. Burial will follow in Biscoe Cemetery Mrs. Deaton was a native of Stanly County and a member of First Baptist Church in Biscoe. She was married to former Mayor of Biscoe David Calvin (D C) Deaton who died December 16, 2000. Mrs. Deaton is survived by her sister-in-law, Louise Deaton King of Star, nephews, James R. ( Jimmy) Deaton and wife Angela of Mt. Gilead, David Deaton and wife Pat of Troy, and Jack Kern and wife Ella of Star: niece Cathy K Davis and husband Tim of Jackson Springs; 3 great nephews and 2 great nieces es. The family will see friends from 6:00to 8:00 PM Sunday at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home in Candor and other times will be at the residence on Pine Street in Biscoe.
