Pauline Wright Bescher

Mrs. Pauline Wright Bescher, age 83 of Denton died Friday, May 4 at her residence. Graveside services will be held Sunday, May 6 at 4:00 PM at North Bend Cemetery on Bescher Chapel Road with Mr. Ken McDowell officiating. Mrs. Bescher was born January 4, 1924 in Randolph County the daughter of Raymond and Beulah Craven Wright. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Bescher was preceded in death by her husband Charles Bescher who died June 16, 1989. Mrs. Bescher is survived by her son Wayne Bescher and wife Voncil of Denton; two daughters Sue Grubb and husband Steve of Denton, Janie Cole and husband J.T. of Denton; one brother David Reece Wright of Asheboro; two sisters Alease Case of Summerland Key, Florida and Hilda Williams of Whittier, NC; six grandchildren Karen Shaw, Darren Grubb, Krystie Grubb, Tammy Boyers, Lori Bescher Ward, and Tiffany Cole; and six great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the residence on Farmer Denton Road.
