Paul Sherwood Chisholm

Paul Sherwood Chisholm, 74, of S. School St., Candor, died Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011 at Candor Baptist Church, with Rev. Steve Jarman and Rev. Bill Turnmire officiating. Burial will follow in the Chisholm Family Cemetery. Born in Montgomery County on June 2, 1937, Paul was the son of Barnie and Lillian Blake Chisholm. He was a member of Candor Baptist Church and was a retired textile worker. He is survived by 4 sisters, Fran Laws of High Point, Louise Reese of Seven Lakes, Janie Cockman of Climax and Joyce Ellis of Pleasant Garden; 3 brothers, Ralph Chisholm of Candor, Roy Chisholm of Lubbock, TX and Jerry Chisholm of Candor; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home and other times at the residence on S.
