Paul E. Britt

Eagle Springs-Mr. Paul E. Britt, 85, of Samarcand Rd., Eagle Springs, died Thursday, April 26, 2007 at his residence. Funeral Service will be Sunday, April 29, 2007 at 3:00 PM at Community Baptist Church with the Revs. Fred Richardson and Otis Goins officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. A native of Moore County, Mr. Britt was born November 2, 1921, the son of Arlin Mason Britt and Daisy Mae Waller Britt. He was a deacon of Palmair Baptist Church in West End, and an Army veteran of WWII, serving in the Pacific. He was a logger. Mr. Britt is survived by his wife, Marie Goins Britt of the home; 4 daughters, Wanda Stuart of Mt. Gilead, Paula Ransom of Jackson Springs, Rhonda Davis of Star and Christine Britt of Aberdeen; a son, Rickey Britt of Eagle Springs; a brother, Joe Britt of Jackson Springs; 4 Grandchildren; 2 Step-Grandchildren; 2 Great-grandchildren; 4 Step-Great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Saturday at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home in Candor and other times at the residence. Memorials may be made to Marie Britt, Box 34, Eagle Springs NC 27242.
