Patty Edwards

Mrs. Patty McConell Edwards of Denton died Friday, January 8 at the Meridian Center in High Point. Inurnment will be held at Tom’s Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date. Mrs. Was born April 19, 1945 to Joe McConell and Lala McConell McConell. She was a homemaker and was married to Emitt Edwards who died in 2000. She is survived by daughters, Brenda Hill of Denton and Glenda Mowery and husband Charlie of Lexington; sons, Jerry Edwards and wife Cathy of Southport, Tim Edward and wife Janet, Eddie Joe Edwards, Ken Edwards and wife Teresa, Sammy Edwards, Wayne Edwards all of Denton, Wayne Edwards and wife Greta of New London; brothers, Eddie McConell, Sandy McConell, Bud McConell and Hoot McConell all of Coeburn, Va; Sisters, Charlene Hampton, Darlene McConell and Sue Dallas all of Coeburn, Va.; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great children. Briggs Funeral Home is serving the Edwards Family.
