Patrick Lawrence Freeman, 87, of Samarcand Rd., Biscoe, died Sunday, February 5, 2017 at FirstHealth Hospice and Palliative Care in Pinehurst. Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Thursday at Eagle Springs United Methodist Church, with Rev. Eric Joyce officiating. Burial will follow in the Big Oak Christian Church Cemetery. Born January 1, 1930 in Moore County, he was the son of John B. and Cora Britt Freeman. Mr. Freeman was a member of Big Oak Christian Church, a farmer and a cabinet maker. He was a graduate of West End High School. He is survived by his wife with whom he would have celebrated 65 years marriage on February 8, Elizabeth Rush Freeman of the home; 3 sons, Stanton Freeman of Eagle Springs, John Freeman (Libby) of Eagle Springs, and Randall Freeman (Earlene) of Robbins; daughter, Judy Foushee (Bobby) of Biscoe; brother, Allison Freeman (Vera) of Eagle Springs; 3 grandchildren, Patrick D. Freeman (Maegan), Christina F. Hallyburton (Charley), and Sarah Freeman; step-grandson, Tim Singleton (Valerie); 3 great-grandchildren, Gage, Cloe, and Cora; 1 Step-great-grandson, Seth.
