Patricia Blevins Jones

Patricia Blevins Jones, 71, of Denton, NC passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at her residence. Born on April 7, 1955, in Johnson City, Tennessee to the late David Soloman Blevins and Evelyn May Miller Blevins.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, July 18, at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. David Lancaster officiating. Interment will follow in the Denton Town Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 prior to the funeral service.

Ms. Jones was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Lexington and previously worked in the furniture industry prior to working for PTI airport as a driver. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by siblings, Vernon Blevins, David Blevins, Mary Blevins, Roger Blevins, Bill Blevins, Donna Blevins, and Phillip Blevins.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Lisa Flynn, Richard Grubb, and Diane Fritts; grandchildren, Valerie Flynn, Joshua Flynn, Samantha Fritts, and Nathan Fritts; great-grandchildren, Mason Lanier, Christopher Bray, Laken Flynn, and Leo McManus; her brother, Tommy Blevins; and her sister-in-law, Shirley Blevins.
