Patricia Ann Garrett Bailey

Patricia Ann Garrett Bailey, aged 64, of Lexington, NC, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, July 4, 2025. Born on April 24, 1961, in Davidson County, she was the beloved daughter of the late Fred Morris Garrett and Alma Louise Garrett.

Patricia was a dedicated warehouse picker and a woman of the Baptist faith. She cherished her time spent in the pool, with her family, and on trips to the beach. Her warm spirit and love for life will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Lonnie Alvin Bailey; her son, Lonnie Alvin Bailey II and his wife Cheyenne; her daughter, Tabitha Nicole Bailey; her step-daughters, Azure Charlene Hensley and her husband Neil, and Laura Lee Patterson and her husband Trevor. Patricia also leaves behind her brothers, 'Joker' Garrett and his wife Rose, and Pete Garrett and his wife Tammie; her sisters, Kay Brinkley (Tim Causey), and Lisa Steele and her husband Nick. She was a proud grandmother to 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, and a cherished aunt to many special nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her brothers, Bubbie Garrett and J.B. Garrett.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 9, at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Jimmy Garrett officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and at other times at the home on Valley Mine Rd., Lexington.
