Patricia Morris Carroll, 90, of Handy Rd., Denton, NC passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at Novant Health Thomasville Medical Center. Born in Forsyth County on October 23, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Zeb W. Morris, Sr. and the late Alma Luther Morris.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, Sep. 11, 2026 at Lineberry Church with Rev. Jamie Akin and Cathy Ward officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1:30 PM until 3:00 PM prior to the funeral service and other times at the residence on Handy Rd.
Patricia was an active member of Lineberry Church where she had been a member of the choir, taught Sunday School, helped in children ministries, and served as President of the Methodist Women. She was instrumental in Lineberry Church assisting with Open Hands of Davidson County providing a monthly meal. She had also worked as a teachers assistant at Denton Elementary School where she also was a bus driver and she had previously been involved in the Denton Ladies Civitan Club. Known as being a great cook, Patricia naturally enjoyed cooking, family get togethers was something she always looked forward to, traveling to the mountains, playing cards, and studying in her Bible.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Carroll; daughter, Wendy Carroll Cadle; her siblings, Juanita Samlin, Chris Johnson, Hobert Morris, Zeb Morris, Jr., Geraldine Leach, Peggy Martin, Foy Morris, and Bonnie Garner.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Julie Carroll (Janelle) and Pam Carroll; son, Bo Carroll (Ellen); sister, Sylvia Russell; grandchildren, Bowman Carroll, Isabella Love, Jacob Cadle, and Mary Elizabeth Caldwell; great-grandchildren, Zeb Carroll, Adah Carroll, Louella Love, Selah Love, Jaxson Cadle, Walker Cadle, Ellie Caldwell, and Andrew Caldwell.
Memorials can be made to Lineberry Church or to Alderwood of Davidson County.
