Pamela Miller

Mrs. Pamela Raye Covington Miller, age 75, of Knollwood Drive, Denton, NC died on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at her residence.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 13th at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Mr. Nathaniel Miller officiating.  Interment will follow at the Denton Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Briggs Funeral Home and other times at the residence.

Pamela was born November 18, 1948 in Davidson County, NC to Lenn Richard Covington and Josephine Hill Covington.  She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Richard Lineberry Covington and Robin Lenn Covington.

Her greatest joy was being a wife and mother. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse at Mountain Vista Health Park for 35 years. Pamela attended Victory Baptist Church until a decline in health.  She received her Associate's Degree at Randolph Community College.

Mrs. Miller is survived by her husband, James “Jimmy” Miller of the home; 2 daughters, Quenda Miller of Lexington, NC and Melynda Horton (Duane) of Chattanooga, TN; 3 sons, Aaron Miller (Laura), Nathaniel Miller (Chandler McLean) and Andrew Miller (Rebecca) all of Raleigh, NC; a sister, Jo Lynn Norris (Eston) of New London, NC; grandchildren, Will Horton, Melissa Horton, Macie Horton, Westin Horton, Marie Horton, Madelyn Horton, Waylan Horton, Walker Horton, Winston Horton, Madison Horton, Liam Miller, Claira Miller, Grayson Miller, J.J. Miller and Jack Miller.
