Olena Byerly

Ms. Olena Coppley Byerly, age 90, of Lexington, NC passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Brian Center of Lexington. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, Dec. 16, at Cid United Methodist Church Cemetery. Olena was born May 10, 1927 in Davidson County the daughter of Archer Coppley and Freda Marie Owen Coppley . She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband Ardell “Snowball” Byerly; daughter, Doris Byerly Miller; and son, Jerry Byerly. She is survived by son, Robert Byerly of Lexington; daughter, Libby Eddinger of Lexington; sisters, Tolvie Forshee and Bonnie Hedrick of Lexington; 7 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
