Novella “Babydoll” Wright Wooley, 49, of Pekin Rd., died Saturday, September 24, 2011 at FirstHealth Montgomery Memorial Hospital in Troy. Graveside Service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, September 29 at Southside Cemetery in Troy, with Pastor Ronald Smith officiating. Born in Montgomery County on November 11, 1961, she was the daughter of Joseph and Annie Thompson Wright. She was a registered nurse and was preceded in death by her husband, Tony O. Wooley in 2008 and a sister, Elizabeth “Tweety” Wright. She is survived by 2 daughters, Michele Cheek of Troy and Lynn Wright of Black Mountain, NC; 3 brothers, Joey Wright of Asheboro and Bill “Scooter” Wright and James “Smiley” Wright, both of Troy; 2 sisters, Leslie Wright of Troy and Joanna “Tootie” White of Jackson Springs; 2 grandchildren, Zachary and Zander Cheek. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday at Briggs Funeral Home in Troy and other times at the home of her sister, Leslie Wright on Dennis Street in Troy. Briggs Funeral Home in Troy is in charge of arrangements
