Notie Cook

Miss Notie Odelia Cook, age 94 of South NC Hwy # 49, Denton, NC died Monday, January 18 at Mountain Vista Health Park. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 20 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel conducted by Rev. Claudie Harrison. Burial will follow at Allegheny United Methodist Church Cemetery. Miss Cook was born July 21, 1915 in Davidson County to George C. Cook and Beulah Lanier Cook. She was a retired employee of Bossong Hosiery Mill and was of Methodist Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents and by brothers and sisters, A Vestal Cook, Sadie C. Haltom, Dester C. Russell, Mazie C Surratt Carrick, Ila C. Russell, Raymond Cook and Cleo C. Hough. She is survived by Nieces and Nephews. The family will see friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Wednesday at Briggs Funeral Home.
