Norman Lee Henderson

Mr. Norman Lee Henderson, 81, of Tamworth Dr., Denton passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at Forsyth Medical Center.

A celebration of life service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, April 17 at First Baptist Church in the outdoor shelter conducted by Rev. Claudie Harrison and Military Honors provided by the Davidson County Honor Guard.

Norman was born October 10, 1939 in Davidson County to Ross Henderson and Annie Griffin Henderson. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Norman was of the Baptist Faith. He was a graduate of Piedmont Bible College and over the years had pastored many churches throughout his years in the Ministry. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Bill, Robert, and Bennett; his sisters, Ruby and Betty Jean.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Linda Paige Henderson of the home; daughters, Norma Henderson Dunn and husband Kelly of Denton and Lisa Henderson Hill and husband Daren of Winston Salem; 2 grandchildren, Megan Sexton and husband Michael and Zachary Ross Parks and wife Kasi; 4 great-grandchildren, Levi, Zoei, Gentry, and Kole.

Briggs Funeral Home in Denton is serving the Henderson family.
