Norma Burr Thompson

Norma Burr Thompson, 74, of Daniel St. Denton, NC passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at her residence.

She was born on July 7, 1947, in Davidson County to Robert Burr and Elizabeth Cornell Burr. Norma was a member of First Baptist Church and a retired machine operator from the textile industry. In addition to her parents Norma was also preceded in death by a sister, Clara Deloris Boone.

Surviving is, son, Robert Daniel “Danny” Thompson and wife April of Lexington; brother, Sonny Burr of Denton; sister, Dianne Elizabeth Stroud of Denton; 3 grandchildren, Rebecca Abigail “Abbi” Thompson, Harrison Wyatt Whitley and Walter Jarrett Whitley; cousin, Boyd Burr of Denton.

Memorials in Norma’s honor can be made to Mountain Vista Health Park 106 Mount Vista Rd. Denton, NC 27239.
