Nina Varner

Ms. Nina Bell Latham Varner age 94, formerly of Farmer Rd. Denton died Friday July, 26, 2013. A graveside service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, July28 at Denton Town Cemetery conducted by Rev. Jody Harrison. Ms. Varner was born January 3, 1919 in Randolph County to Harvey Gurney Latham and Cora C. English Latham. She had worked as a Knitter in the hosiery industry. She was preceded in death by her husband; J. Reese Varner and also by her brothers and sisters. Survivors include; sons; John Varner and wife Ann and James Varner and wife Laurie all of Denton, and 1 granddaughter; Kristy Varner. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 to 2:30 PM at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the home of James Varner, 1571 Farmer Rd., Denton.
