Nervie Goins Smith

Nervie Leona Goins Smith, 86, of Candor passed away Monday, January 11, 2021 at Randolph Hospice House. Mrs. Smith was born April 9, 1934 in Montgomery County, a daughter of the late Vance and Essie Mae King Goins. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Smith and a daughter Sandra Davis. Surviving are her children, Anthony Smith, David Smith, Randy Smith and Doris Tucker, all of Candor, Brandy Morse of Star and Stacy Tucker of Robbins; eleven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm Friday at the Smith Family Cemetery in Candor with Rev. Brantley Moore officiating. Face coverings are required and please remember social distancing. Mrs. Smith will lie in state from 2:00 – 5:00 pm Thursday at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home.
