Neil Arthur Lamonds

Neil Arthur Lamonds, age 77 died Thursday, November 18, 2010 at his residence. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, November 21, 2010 at Candor Cemetery conducted by Rev. William Turnmire. Mr. Lamonds was born September 13, 1933 in Montgomery County to Lacy Hadley Lamonds and Vergie Stewart Lamonds. He was a veteran of the US Army and a farmer. In addition to his parents Mr. Lamonds was also preceded in death by a sister, Cornelia Lamonds Blue. Survivors include, sisters; Lois Loflin of Norman, Janet Loflin of Troy, Becky Burkhead and Darlene Fox both of Candor, Faye Baker of Fayetteville, and Pam Morgan of Seagrove. Also 12 Nieces and Nephews and 13 Great Nieces and Nephews. Memorials can be made to Samaritan Colony, 136 Samaritan Dr., Rockingham, NC 28379. Arrangements are by Briggs-Candor Funeral Home.
