Nancy Ball Hogan

Mrs. Nancy Ball Hogan, 76, a resident of Charles Mountain Rd. Denton passed away on Friday, July 17, 2020 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.

A graveside service will be held 10:00 AM Monday, July 20 at Liberty Fellowship Church Cemetery with Rev. Jamie Draughn and Rev. Melvin Morton presiding.

Mrs. Hogan will lie in state at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton on Sunday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Mrs. Hogan was born August 30, 1943 in Randolph County to the late Fred Ball and Lucinda Hoover Ball. Nancy was a member of Liberty Fellowship Church and had been employed Klaussner Furniture Company. Along with her husband they owned Hogan Grocery for 20 years.

She is survived by her husband of over 60 years, Alvin Hogan, Sr. of the home; son, Alvin Hogan, Jr. and wife Kandy of Denton; daughters, Elaine Kiser and husband Neal of Denton and Marcell Lomax and husband Dale of Lexington; brother, Freddie Ball and wife Jeanette of Lexington; sister, Judy Moody and husband Charles of Asheboro; 7 grandchildren, Kristen Elberson (Scotty), Stella Hineline (Chris), Dr. Hagan Kiser, Brittany Powers (Nathan), Jessica Hogan, Bryson Hogan, and Desirae Lawson; 6 great-grandchildren, Lorelei and Laken Elberson, Ryleigh and Ryder Hineline, Holland and Oakleigh Powers.

Nancy loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and extended family and friends.
