Nancy Dehart

Ms. Nancy Williams DeHart, 77, of Flat Swamp Rd. Denton passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center.A celebration of life service will be held 7:00 pm Thursday, Sept. 21 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Pastor Ricky Sessoms presiding.  There will be a gathering of family and friends on Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the home of Linda Harris on Flat Swamp Rd., Denton.  Nancy was born May 6, 1940 in Davidson County to Eli Williams and Mae Grant Williams. She was a graduate of Denton High School. She had worked in the hosiery industry as a knitter at various hosiery mills and she attended Hopewell Friends Church in Asheboro. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Kenneth “Butch” Williams and Donald Williams and sister, Jean Harris.  Surviving is sons, Greg Hunt, Brian Kenneth Hunt, and Brandon DeHart all of Asheboro; brother, Bob Williams of Denton; sister, Linda Harris of Denton; 7 grandchildren.Memorials can be made to the donor’s choice.  Online condolences may be made at www.briggsfuneralhome.com
