Myrtle Hedrick

Mrs. Myrtle Beanblossom Hedrick, age 84 of Shiptontown Road, Lexington died Monday, October 23 at Brian Center Viewmont in Hickory. Mrs. Hedrick was born June 3, 1922 in Davidson County to Jim Beanblossom and Dora Cross Beanblossom. She was a retired school teacher at Silver Valley Elementary School. She was married to R. Clifford Hedrick who died December 31, 1989. She is survived by her son, Raymond Hedrick of Lexington, daughter Luann MacCall of Hickory, a sister Viola Tussey of Lexington and 3 grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday at Holloways Baptist Church and burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will see friends from 6:00 t0 8:00 PM Tuesday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton.
