Mozelle Owens

Mr. Mozelle W. Owens, age 68 of Klopman Mill Road, Denton, NC died Thursday, Oct 1 at his residence. The family will see friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday at Briggs Funeral Home, but no funeral service will be held. Mr. Owens was born January 14, 1941 in Davidson County to Harris Edward Owen and Lelia Bailey Owen. He was a retired employee of Burlington Industries, Denton Plant. He was preceded in death by his wife Terri P. Owens, by a son, William Scott Owens, by his parents and by a step-mother Pauline Owen and by a grandson Calvin Owens. He is survived by a son, Mitchell Lynn Owens and wife Renee of Denton; by a grandson, Calem Owens and Fiancee Stephanie of Denton; by brothers David Owens and Terry Owens both of Lexington; by sisters, Pearl Morrow of Murphy, and Josie Potts and Juanita Mowrey both of Denton; by a great grandchild, Cayley Owens; Step Grandchildren Brandon and Amanda and by the mother of his children Mary Lou Owens and by a number of nieces and nephews.
