Mozelle Kearns Hardy

Mrs. Mozelle Kearns Hardy, age 96 of Covewood Street, High Point, formerly of Denton died Sunday, July 19 at High Point Regional Hospital. A graveside service for Mrs. Hardy will be 11:00 am Wednesday, July 22 at Mountain View Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Denton with Rev. Boyd Holliday officiating. Mrs. Hardy was born May 20, 1913 in Randolph County to Benjamin and Carrie Cranford Kearns. She was a homemaker and a member of Rankin Memorial United Methodist Church. She was married to Willard E. Hardy who died February 21, 1977. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Othell Kearns, Raymond Kearns and Charlie Kearns and sisters, Jessie Crouse, Ruby Ingram and Leatta Daniel. Mrs. Hardy is survived by her daughter Bennie Hearne and husband Lamar of High Point There will be a gathering of family and friends following the service at the Parkplace in Denton.
