Montess Callicutt

Mrs. Montees Hurley Callicutt, age 72 of Carroll Ave., Denton, NC died Wednesday, Nov. 3 at Kindred Hospital. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, Nov. 7 at The Hurley Family Cemetery. The family will see friends Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the home of Katherine Louya. Mrs. Callicutt was born March 2, 1938 in Montgomery County to William Taft Hurley and Bessie Overton Hurley. She worked as a Sewer in the Hosiery Manufacturing Industry Survivors include, son, Randy W. Callicutt of Troy, daughters, Patricia Cornelison, Katherine Louya, Jeannie Singleton all of Troy, Debbie Severt, Norma Lucy Gallimore, and Donna Callicutt all of Lexington, 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild, and companion Archie Datson.
