Mildred Rush Treece

Mildred Rush Treece, 90, formerly of Candor, died Monday, March 30, 2020 at Care Plantation in Carthage. Funeral Services will be private. Born in Montgomery County on September 22, 1929, she was the daughter of Charles E. and Elizabeth Baldwin Rush. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and a former seamstress. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Donald Treece in 2001, 3 sisters, Sally Ann Rush, Nellie Mae Broadaway, and Mamie Rush, 5 brothers, Elsie Rush, Carl Rush, Bobby Rush, Woodrow Rush, and Richard Rush. She is survived by a special niece, Barbara Hearne and husband David of High Point, and several other nieces and nephews. Briggs-Candor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
