Mildred Richardson

Mrs. Mildred Hogan Gallimore Richardson, age 87 of Mountain Vista Health Park and formerly of Charles Mountain Road, Denton died Tuesday, November 13 at Mountain Vista.   A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, November 16 at Taylor’s Grove Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Tommy Tysinger.   The family will see friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Thursday at Briggs Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence of Rocky Hogan, 7168 New Hope Road, Denton.   Mrs. Richardson was born August 14, 1931 in Randolph County to Manley Hogan, Sr and Amy Ethel Latham Hogan.  She had worked at Thornton Knitting Company and Acme McCrary Hosiery and had been an active member of Taylors Grove Baptist Church for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her first husband Eugene Gallimore and by her second husband Ernest (Bud) Richardson. She was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.   She is survived by a step-son Steve Richardson of Mt Gilead and grandchildren, Anna Gregg, Stacy Freeman, Brittany McGee, Brett Cox and Jennifer Voncannon. Briggs Funeral Home is in charge.
