Mildred Floyd Byerly, 79, a resident of Floyd Rd. Lexington passed away on Thursday, May 07, 2020 at her residence.

A graveside service will be held at 2 pm Saturday, May 9 at Floyd Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Derald Smith presiding.

Mildred was born February 22, 1941 in Davidson County to Clay Floyd and Mamie Davis Floyd. She was a graduate of Southmont High School, a member of Floyd Baptist Church, and had worked as a bookkeeper. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Ted Wayne Byerly; son, Randall (Randy) Ted Byerly; brothers,  Dalvin, Gurney, Jerry D. (Buddy), and Bryce Floyd; sister, Maxine Bates.

She is survived by her brother, Rev. Tommy Floyd (Barbara) of Mt. Airy; sister, Martha McDaniel of Thomasville; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
