Mike Clodfelter

Richard Michael “Mike” Clodfelter, age 72, of Shiptontown Road, Lexington, NC died on October 29, 2024 at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 2nd, 2024 at Coggins Memorial Baptist Church in Lexington with Rev. Scott Slaughter officiating.  Internment will be held at Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Denton.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the church.

Mr. Clodfelter was born on October 7, 1952 in Davidson County to Jacob Hewey Clodfelter and Doris Ann Manus Clodfelter. He was a member of Coggins Memorial Baptist Church and had worked in the furniture industry.  Besides his parents he was also preceded in death by his sister April Suzanne Clodfelter.

Mike is survived by his wife, Kathy Carrick Clodfelter of the home; daughters, Mikay Clodfelter Barajas & husband Juan of High Point and Kitzie Rebecca Clodfelter of Denton; and 2 grandchildren, Gabriel Esteban Barajas and Sebastian Andres Barajas.
