Mickey "Mike" Gallimore

Mickey “Mike” Darrell Gallimore, 77, formerly of Bob Loflin Rd., Denton, NC passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Cone Health Moses H. Cone Hospital.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 7, at Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery  on Loftin Road with Rev. James Spaugh officiating.

Mr. Gallimore was born June 3, 1945 in Davidson County to M. Hollan Gallimore and Naomi Loflin Gallimore. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Church. Having worked for Burlington Industries for several years “Mike” later went on to work at Council Craftsman Furniture from which he retired. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by son, Chad Gallimore (Shelly) of Greensboro; daughter, Amy Spaugh (James) of Hertford; brother, Richard D. Gallimore (Diane) of Denton; sister, Kathy Yates (Tony) of Asheboro; 3 grandchildren, Kendall Spaugh, Kaleb Spaugh, and Katherine Miles.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the home of Chad Gallimore.
