Micheal "Mike" Ray Cranford

Micheal "Mike"  Ray Cranford, 73, of Denton, NC passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem.

Mr. Cranford was born on November 10, 1952, in Cabarrus County, NC the son of the late Ralph Herman Cranford and Peggy Shue Cranford. He was a member of Lineberry Church and had worked in part sales for heavy equipment with International Harvester and John Deere. Some of his favorite hobbies included taking trips to the beach, fishing, watching NASCAR, barbecuing, listening to blues music, buying and selling antiques, and he enjoyed going to Lefler's Place for a hot dog. Above all else Mike loved being with his dear family especially spending time with his grandchildren. 

in addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Autumn Lynn Cranford.

Left to cherish Mike's memory of his loving wife Rosemary Graves Cranford; son, Micheal Paul Cranford; daughter, Sara Anne Cranford and her fiance Ritchie Clayton Stegall; brothers Barry Hoover and Aaron Cranford and his wife Kathy; grandchildren, Cody Rinehardt (Erin), McKenna Cranford, Chandler Cranford, Jacob Cranford, Eli Morrison, Riley Morrison, Parker Morrison, and Braylon Pleasants; great-grandchildren, Autumn and Jackson; step-daughters, Rebekah Pleasants, Emily Morrison (Jeremy Edwards), and Morgan Pleasants.

The family will have a private memorial service at later date.

Memorials can be made to Lineberry Church Cemetery Fund or to the Pallative Care Unit at Novant Forsyth Medical Center.
