Michael Lee Williams, age 56, of Trinity died Thursday morning, June 13 at his home. Funeral service for Mr. Williams will be 9:30 am Saturday, June 15 at Briggs Memorial Chapel with Rev. Claudie Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in Hoovers Grove Wesleyan Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton. Mr. Williams was born August 5, 1956 in Randolph County to Roy Lee and Ruby Graye Lyndon Williams. He was a 1974 graduate of Southwest Randolph High School. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church where he had served as Missions Treasurer and was on the Cemetery Committee. He was a former member of Central Falls Baptist Church in Asheboro where he had served as a deacon and Sunday school superintendent. He had worked as a supervisor at Lowes Distribution Center with 22 years of service and then with Flexible Foam. He loved to farm and hunt. His greatest accomplishment was being a loving husband, daddy and papaw, a daddy that never stopped believing in his girls and was always there for his family, a strong man, a hero, a daddy that could do anything he set his mind to. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Donna Eddinger Williams of the home, three daughters, Miranda Williams Lambeth and husband Matthew of Asheboro, Megan Williams of Asheboro and fiancée Chayne Staley and Mallory Williams of the home, one sister, Shirley Williams Ritch and husband Alvin of Denton and three grandchildren, Miah Williams and Kaleb and Eva Lambeth.
