Michael Barefoot

Michael James Barefoot, 17, of Denton died Saturday December 29 at his residence. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 2 at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Steve McLain and Rev. Charlie Collins. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Michael was born October 22, 1990 in Davidson County to James Fletcher Barefoot and Tammy Goad Barefoot. He was a student. He is survived by his Mother, Tammy Barefoot, his father and step-mother James and Reecia Barefoot, grandparents James and Clara Barefoot, all of Denton and a half sister Mandy Ireland of Southmont. The family will see friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Briggs Funeral Home.
