Maxine Elizabeth Robinson Reynolds, 91, of Candor, died Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at FirstHealth Hospice and Palliative Care in West End. Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 5, 2025 at Sardis United Methodist Church, with Rev. Glenn Hancock and Rev. Steve Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Born in Candor on May 21, 1934, she was the daughter of John and Ada Brewer Robinson. She was a member of Sardis UMC, and was a manager at Jeanette Maternities. She was preceded in death by her husband, Romie Reynolds in 2024, her parents, 3 brothers, Floyd, Melvin and Walter Robinson, and a sister, Dorothy R. Thompson.
Maxine is survived by 2 daughters, Teresa Hall (Steve) of Wilmington, and Mitzi Pritchard (Gary) of Biscoe; 3 grandchildren, Corey Pritchard, Jayme Pritchard, and Kaitlyn Hall; 4 great-grandchildren, Chandler Pritchard, Kenzie Pritchard, Rylee Pritchard, and Isabelle Glapion; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at Sardis UMC fellowship hall on Saturday.
The family would like a thank the nurses and staff at FirstHealth Hospice for the care and compassion over the past few years.
