Maude Hedrick

Mrs. Maude Frank Hedrick, age 98 of Frank Road, Denton, NC died Thursday, October 21 at Hinkle Hospice House. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 23 at New Jerusalem United Church of Christ conducted by Rev. Butch Conrad. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Mrs. Hedrick was born August 31, 1912 in Davidson County to Ashley Frank and Minnie Jane Workman Frank. She was a homemaker and a lifetime member of New Jerusalem United Church of Christ where she also a member of Women’s Society of the Church. Mrs. Hedrick was married to Dewey L. Hedrick who died August 24, 1980. She was also preceded in death by a son, Bruce Hedrick on December 16, 2009, by brothers, Walter Frank and Lee Frank and by sister Ora Frank. She is survived by sons, Wayne Hedrick and wife Edna of Trinity, Reece Hedrick and wife Carol of Lexington, Ronald (R L) Hedrick and wife Chris and Clinton Hedrick and wife Frankie and a daughter-in-law Edith Hedrick all of Denton. A brother Donald Frank of Lexington and a sister Ruby Ward of Denton. She has 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 8 step great grandchildren. The family will see friends from 6:30 to 8:30 PM Friday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and at other times will be at the residence on Frank Road.
