Mary Bernice Sutka Whiteley, 88, of West End, died Monday, August 24, 2026 at her residence. No Services are planned at this time.
Born in Duchess County, NY on October 29, 1937, she was the daughter of Stephen and Thekla Mysick Sutka. She had been employed as a bookkeeper with IBM. She was preceded in death by her husband.
Mary is survived by two sons, Michael Whiteley and Mark Whiteley, both of West End NC; several nieces and nephews.
Briggs-Candor Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
