Mary Loflin Saunders

Mary Belle Loflin Saunders, age 76, of Justin, Texas, formerly of Pleasant Union Rd., Denton, NC died Monday, February 4 at Long Meadow Health Care in Justin. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, February 10 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. David Schwartz officiating. Burial will follow in Pierce's Chapel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Saunders was born April 8, 1931 in Randolph County to Pearl John and Flora Anna Elizabeth Beck Loflin. She was a member of Amity Hills Baptist Church. She had worked for Eveready-Energizer and Union Carbide. Mrs. Saunders is survived by one son, Gregg Dayton Saunders of Denton, two daughters, Rebecca Gail Badgett of Pinnacle and Lori Anne Kiser of Lewisville, Texas, four grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
