Mary Noble Parker

Mrs. Mary Noble Harris Parker, age 94 of Old NC Hwy # 109 S. Lexington, NC died Saturday, Sept 10 at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington after 3 weeks of rapidly declining health. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 14 at Fairview United Methodist Church Conducted by Rev. Doug Rowe and Mr.Clay Parker. Burial will follow in the Family Plot at Fairview United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Parker was born July 1, 1917 in Davidson County to W. Hayes Harris and Della Ursa Hoover Harris. She was a graduate of Denton High School and was employed with Burlington Industries for over 30 years. She retired from Pickett’s Department Store where she was employed for many years. She was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church and a lifelong member of Denton Chapter # 216 Order of the Eastern Star. She was married to Earnest G. Parker who died June 2, 2010. She is survived by a son, David Anthony (Tony) Parker and wife Nan Jean Johnson Parker of Denton and by four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
