Mary Louise Peacock

Mary Louise Peacock, 86, formerly of NC HWY 8, Lexington, NC passed away on Friday, September 4, 2026, at Mountain Vista Health Park in Denton. Born on February 7, 1940, in Davidson County she was the daughter of Samuel Lee Peacock and Alice Hedrick Peacock.

A funeral service will be held at Mountain View Baptist Church where she was a member on Saturday, Sep. 12, 2026 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Tim Miller officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 PM prior to the service starting at the church.

Mary was a member of the first graduating class at Central Davidson High School and went on to attend Ashmore Business College. She had been a bookkeeper in the textile industry. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Bessie Peacock, and by brothers, Grady Peacock and Charles Peacock.

She is survived by brothers, Johnny Peacock and Athel Peacock and his wife Anita; sister-in-law, Carol Peacock; nieces and nephews, Alan Peacock (Cathy), Austin Peacock (Carrie), Samuel Peacock, Melissa Clark, and Jennifer Brunck (George); and by several great nieces and nephews.
