Mary Garner

Mary Louise Garner, 68, of Tysinger Family Road, died Friday, September 2, 2011, at Hinkle Hospice House. The funeral will be 3 p.m. Sunday, September 4, 2011, at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Alberson officiating. Interment will follow at the Owens family cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home. Mary was born April 8, 1943, in Davidson County, to James Garner and Pearl Hancock Garner. She was a member of the Covenant Church of God and was retired from Ultra Mek. Survivors include companion, Charlie Tysinger of Lexington; special nephew, Scottie Yates and wife, Michelle, and children, Eli and Lily; special niece, Stacy Broadway; sisters, Wilma Gammons of Denton and Hazel Yates of Lexington; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
