Mary Eason Hughes

Mary Alice Eason Hughes, 42, of NC Hwy 47, Lexington, died Wednesday, November 09, 2016 at her residence. Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Saturday at Summerville Baptist Church, with Rev. Flynn Richardson and Rev. Freddie Moretz officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. She was born December 28, 1973 in Rowan County, the daughter of Jerry Lee and Glenda Frank Eason. She was an employee of WalMart and a graduate of South Davidson High School. At Summerville Baptist Church, she was the pianist and the G.A. Leader. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Lee Eason. She is survived by her husband, Terry Hughes of the home; son, Zachary Samuel Hughes of the home; her mother, Glenda Frank Eason of Southmont; 3 brothers, Andrew Lee Eason of Southmont, Timothy Paul Eason of Denton and Kevin Matthew Eason of Dobson. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the residence.
