Marvin Edward Williamson, Jr

Marvin Edward Williamson, Jr., 55, of Hoover Lane, Biscoe, died Monday, July 3, 2023 at his residence.  Graveside Service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Candor Cemetery, with Rev. Jimmy Shirlen officiating.

Born on April 21, 1968 in Moore County, he was the son of Marvin Williamson and Shirley Sanders Sheffield.  He was a fixer in the textiles industry.  He was preceded in death by his father, his wife, Elvira Hernandez Williamson and a brother, Mike Parsons.

He is survived by his sons, Travis Williamson and Patrick Williamson, both of Jackson Springs; mother, Shirley Sheffield of Jackson Springs; 4 sisters, Patricia Callicutt of Abner, Vickie Byrd of Ellerbe, Lisa Brock of Fayetteville, and Sandra Brower of Robbins.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home.
