Martha Reeder

Ms. Martha Russell Reeder age 86 of Denton passed away on Monday, June 05, 2017 at Hinkle Hospice House. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Larry Furr's Southern Theater. Ms. Reeder was born March 4, 1931 in Randolph County to Roe Russell and Doice Shields Russell. She was a member of Liberty Fellowship Church and had worked as a knitter at Burlington Industries and a beautician. In addition to her work Martha also was a foster parent. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Reeder and step-mother, Cleo Russell. Surviving are daughter, Terri Reeder of Denton; 3 grandchildren, Caleb Reeder, Jessica Reeder, and Nicholas Reeder; brother, Donald Russell of Summerfield; sisters, Louise Russell of Denton and Jo Ellen Davenport of Summerfield; guardianship of Jerry Lee Maness of Goldsboro; and several nieces and nephews.
