Mrs. Martha Hussey Martin age 47 of Johnson Rd., Denton, died Thursday, December 25, 2014 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, Dec. 28 at Mountain View Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Tim Miller. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Martha was born July 3, 1967 in Moore County, NC to Lendo Elbert “Pete” Hussey and Thelma Caviness Hussey. She was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church and was a School Teacher. Martha was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Milton Elbert “Buck” Hussey. Survivors include, husband, Rickey Lane Martin of the home; daughters, Kristy K. Martin Rogers (Zackary) of Denton and Kelsey Lane Martin of Denton; sister, Mary Anne Myrick of Star. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the residence on Johnson Rd.
