Troy-Martha Hamilton Martha Lundy Hamilton, age 77, formerly of Troy, died Sunday, March 30, 2008 at Autumn Care of Biscoe. Funeral Service will be 11:30 AM Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at the First Wesleyan Church in Troy, with the Rev. Jeff Ray officiating. Burial will follow in the Love Joy United Methodist Church Cemetery. A native of Montgomery County, Ms. Hamilton was born August 22, 1930, the daughter of Arthur Wade and Hattie Saunders Hamilton. She was a member of First Wesleyan Church and had worked as a rewinder at Capel’s Mill. She is survived by 2 sisters, Myrtle Maness of Star and Frances Russell of Troy; 2 brothers, Vernon W. Hamilton of Candor and James Hamilton of Asheboro The family will receive friends from 10 to 11:30 AM prior to the service Wednesday at the Church. Memorials may be made to the First Wesleyan Church, 1368 NC Hwy 134 North, Troy NC 27371.
