Mark Harris

Mark Walter Harris of Cid Road, Lexington, NC died Friday, October 20 at Thomasville Medical Center after having open heart surgery on August 29 at Duke Childrens Hospital Mark was born July 4, 1999 in Davidson County to Rickey E. Harris and Georgia Varner Harris. He was a student at Silver Valley Elementary School and attended Denton Wesleyan Church. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Edsel and Arlene Harris. He is survived by his Parents, Rickey and Georgia Harris of the Home, Twin brother Michael Harris and brother Matthew Harris both of the home, sister Melissa Harris of the Home grandparents Varis and Elsie Workman of High Point. Great Aunt Ora Grubb of Lexington also Special Aunts and Uncles and many Cousins A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM Tuesday at Denton Wesleyan Church with burial to follow at Walters Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will see friends from 5:30 to 8:30 pm Monday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the residence on Cid Road.
